Requirements:
• Strong knowledge of Information and Communications Technology (ICT) infrastructure management, including software licensing and version control processes
• Experience in Change and Configuration Management procedures, including software releases, updates, approvals, and compliance tracking
• Understanding of Enterprise Service Level Agreements (ESLA) and the ability to assess and approve software license requests against defined criteria
• Knowledge of cybersecurity principles, CIS security policies, and compliance requirements within operational and exercise environments
• Experience in software lifecycle management, including procurement, renewals, funding coordination, and stakeholder engagement
• Ability to conduct Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) processes for CIS builds, desktop image builds, IT equipment, and software systems
• Experience in testing and validation of IT systems prior to operational deployment, exercises, or customer handover
Duties:
• Ensure effective license management and version control of assigned ICT infrastructure
• Coordinate with CSU Change and Configuration Management regarding software licensing, change proposals, approvals, and software releases or updates
• Review and approve local software license requests in support of Joint Warfare Centre (JWC) business requirements in accordance with ESLA criteria
• Maintain JWC and NCST software inventories while ensuring adherence to applicable security policies and standards
• Initiate and manage new software requests and renewal processes to ensure timely completion
• Coordinate with stakeholders to secure renewals of local licenses, including obtaining required funding approvals
• Manage QA/QC activities for CIS builds and desktop image builds supporting exercises and operational events
• Conduct QA/QC testing of IT equipment and software prior to deployment and customer handover
• Ensure implementation and compliance of CIS security policies in accordance with exercise and operational documentation
• Lead and supervise technicians conducting internal quality audits and oversee the production of technical non-compliance reports
• Liaise closely with internal Section Heads and provide assistance as required
• Plan, schedule own work and monitor work of others – where applicable
• Within limited time horizons
